And I was thinking about Crane. Crane does a lot more intensive ♥♥♥♥, but then again he has bigger muscles, is taller, and generally stronger muscles and skeletal structure (ergo better heart).
or like 175ish pounds and like 5’9" or 5'10"
Kind of impossible though, some of the things he does like sliding down SLOWLY after a wall run, though the wall run itself is realistic.
Out of all the questions ever posted about Dying Light ...
What was yours again?
He can't afford to be any 200 pounds running as much as he does.
I know personally that someone about 6 feet 1 inches can easily weight between 155 and 175 pounds and go for 5 hours straight in 100 degree weather on the concrete playing nearly non-stop college level tennis, but without the bouncing of the stupid balls 10 times before serving, and even brisk walking or running back to the line half of the time for 2 hours straight.
But, he's need more muscle that that, mostly practiced muscle, to get up those heights etc. No real human could do what is done in DL in reality, but keep in mind that DL exaggerates reach and jump length with a weird stretched FoV as well.
So I'd guess he is more like 5 feet 10 or 11 at most, and probably weighs in at about 170 pounds. This would give him enough muscle to be a fitness guru, super lean, have great cardio, and be able to do 100s of push-ups or chin-ups in a row without tiring. I've known guys who can do that many sit-ups in under 2 minutes, same with push-ups and chin or pull-ups. Which is more than enough basic strength. They tend to be very lean, no belly, and low muscle mass overall. They just look long-muscled and wire-y. The flesh is solid, nothing gives in easily. No fat on the back, and so on.
I knew a teen kid like that about when he was 17 or so, he was about 5 feet 8 or 9, and about 155 pounds. He could grip the side of a school bus or any ledge and do several pull-ups with fingertip grips, say 5-6 in 2 to 3 seconds, no problem. He could also do hand stand push ups while balancing himself from an immediate stand to hand-stand, have balance and do it -- under a second to set-up and start.
I think that's the sort of build I'd expect for this. I've seen marines who were tunnel rats of about the same weight to height ratio.
200 pounds is possibly doable, but you'd need an exceptional halfback to keep cardio that long, and he would not be likely to be able to climb and jump off multiple buildings for 5 minutes straight with that weight. Lower his weight and with tons of practice doing this, and luck to survive, he might be able to pull it off -- until he misses a grab or fall and dies. Which means no one actually could do that, but that's the sort of build needed.
As an aside, a woman with much lighter weight, would not need the large muscle mass to do this all day long. So someone similar to a gymnast or circus athlete (consider their training is similar in type and length as any Crane outing), would likely be shorter and quite low weight. So a woman about 5 feet 1 or so and maybe weighing around 110-125 pounds with practiced flex, cardio, strength could do similar things, with much less necessary or showing muscle mass. She's have a much tougher time in the melee with weapons or wrestling/breaking grasps to extricate herself from the zombies. But she's also be harder to hit, normally more flexible, and likely would have an effective kick and better kick height.
how tf do i sit like crane
