ok...that's even worse. Last thing I would do is buy a weapon...
just a few hits extra maybe, but they still break soon anyway, even with power skills maxed.
Now i don't use weapons as fast as i did, and i looted far more upgrades than good weapons. I've come to the point to be picky, i automatically sell grey and green upgrades, and blue if they only add 2 points in total.
I now have more than 20 of each purple upgrades, and more than 30 king -_- (and a clicker :D)
Farming hunters at night is quite worthy ...
You can run a repeatable protection quest ( Blue shields on the map ) that will end with the person you protect repairing every weapon you have on you to perfect condition.
You will want to save the King mods, for getting end game gold weapons done but past that you might as well use weapon mods if you need.
Once max survivor rank especially if you find a good purple or orange, might as well use any mod thats not orange.
Overall the weapon system in this game is a bit broken...they arent THAT amazing, but are faster than not using them...however if you never use them, you probably arent very good with them in the first place.
If you try to get a feel for which weapons you like better, then you burn through weapons rather fast.
Because they break, you worry about using them or even upgrading them, and its easy to not understand what the developers expect from you until its too late.
The Devs seem to want you to keep a "best" weapon on you, the best you have found for any level...and if you get lucky with a good purple or orange, use upgrades to make it better.
( Save Kings and good purples for end game weapons)
Use your best weapon when things get dangerous or difficult, but conserve it as best you can...and if you level up and find better replace it when you can.
Then with all the "good" weapons you find, just use the crap out of them...if you need more buy them or simply run a couple rounds of the repeatable side missions like the "Stuffed Turtle" and get new ones out of the GRE chests.
nothing wrong. only advantages.
There's guide about refurbishing weapons on my profile in case you'll need help finding blue shields or more info about it.
Btw didn't even know about those when saw you speak about this (refurbishing), thx alot (i know i sound like a fan with your guides and .. that's quite it actually :D)
Yes they eventually get damaged but ther is an abundance. And I’ve yet to do it but blade mentioned a blue arrow quest to refurbish? So what’s the problem? Pimp your shat out Bro!
In my case, I personally enjoy using certain Agility / parkour moves to kill zombies, it's not like I avoid using my best weapons because I'm afraid of having them break down or something like that.
It's not cheating, it's an app you can get on your Android and iOS. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.techland.dyingLight.CA&hl=en
The Tide and Be or Zombie are two missions with chance of dropping you kings.
