[SPOILERS]: Jade
Major game spoilers!

I don't really understand Jade dying? There was clearly a romantic interest and emotional attachment from Crane (and yourself as the player-for me anyway). Honestly though there wasn't technically a lot of development between both either. The writers could have wrote in more story and quests for them.

But what I don't really understand is that Crane clearly pocketed an antizin before destroying the crates during a story mission. You don't know what he did with it or if he used it all. It's like the writers forgot about it and it created a plothole. Crane could have used it on Jade after she injects him or he could have used it on her and used the one he had for himself. It just bothers me because he could have used it to save her. Maybe him pocketing one was originally going to be used for that but they took it out.

I get that Rais getting her killed would generate heat for him for the ending but he already had enough heat at that point for his terror throughout the game.

Thoughts?

Well, he tried to use it on her, but failed.

You have a valid point ~ I would have preferred to see Crane using that vial in one of his " seizure episodes " in a pivotal scene, or as you said, seen him whip it out to save Jade...but realistically, it wouldn't have worked into the story progression.

She had to die. By that point, we all loved her and felt an emotional connection towards her. Rais doing what he did to her and her subsequent death by your own hands made you want that fu**er dead all that much more. Revenge ! Worked on me.

Well I actually liked her character... All characters in-game were a bit flat, but compared to many others I think she was pretty good. I liked Brecken too, but it seems they just forgot about him in the later part of the game.
I do believe the "Hallucination" level was a bit much though. It sure was cool to have this surreal level to climb around in, caused by not taking antizin in a long time, but it did require a great attachment to Jade to really get involved in. For those like... what, 10 minutes, I thought they exaggerated a bit. She also got more dialogue in that scene than in the entire game before that, didn't she?
It was a poorly executed attempt at impactful writing and character development. I don't even feel attached to Crane as a character based on this story. It's this typical dystopian hero's rise and fall sequence that was predictable from a mile away.

Did he? I don't remember. I just remember him having a drug type trip and then her injecting him with his pleads against it. And then she got up and took out enemies.

Yeah that is true. I just had different feelings about what should have happened. It was definitely a sweet and sour ending. I honestly wanted full sweet ending with the cure possibly happening and Crane getting the girl, so to speak.

But the story was leading to her getting hurt or dying. Rais wanted her to fight in the pit in exchange for the Antizin. So since Crane refused, Rais was probably hunting her down anyway.
Crane ends up taking his hand from him so Rais took something from Crane...being Jade.

Yeah I don't know what that was about. Brecken falling off the face of the earth bothered me too. I was at least expecting him to meet Crane or call him to say something before the finale. Troy and others didn't even say anything either.

It's been a while since I've played through the story, but I do remember that Rais throws antizin at Crane, then Crane gives it to Jade, then I can't quite recall clearly how it happened, but I'm sure that Crane wanted her to use it on herself.

Right, the antizin Rais throws was for either Crane or Jade use. It was meant to be a emotional dilemma. Crane gave it to Jade, pleading for her to use it because Crane still had some in his system (or so he said). And then he went into a "drug trip" and got out of it with Jade in the middle of injecting him and him choking her. The dream he had may have been him getting closer to turning. If Crane still had the other antizin he pocketed, then he would have at least said something..."Take it because I have this one".

There is also other logic like both splitting the antizin that Rais gives them to last a little longer to escape and get help. Also there is the question of why did Jade turn so fast when Crane clearly survived multiple symptoms of turning without getting antizin for a while.

I always noticed that.
Jade went like, 2 days.
Amir went litteraly like, 4 minuites.
And crane went.... like.. two weeks.

I also love how when crane almost turned (during the pit), he killed what, was it 2 or 3 guys, and took of rais's hand before they even realised what was happening.

Jade did the same right before she turned, killing 4 people before she DOES turn.

Jade's been in Harran longer than Crane, also when he destroys antizin, he takes one vial which seems to helped him for long, I think he receives another antizin in story but I can't recall.

Like I said, this game has more plotholes than I can even list.
The gamplay is really good, thats why basically no one cares, its like GTA 5, or Just Cause 3.

I know that crane recieves another antizen after The Pit, when he wakes up on that boat with breckon.
I think he took, 2 (Possibly 3, we dont and never will know COUGH PLOTHOLES COUGH).
