How can i run this game in windowed mode? Please help!

Hi! My computer cant run fullscreen games for some reason. When i start the game, it is black screen :( can someone tell, how i can make it windowed / windowed borderless without going to game settings? thank you!

Go to your Steam Library > Dying Light > Right click on it > Properties > SET LAUNCH OPTIONS... and type in -windowed afterwards launch the game.

Weird.

Download this - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0Xf3eP6tXyQUkxsWW5vd08xZ1k/view?usp=sharing

Then go to - C:\Users\(Your PC Name)\Documents\DyingLight\out\settings

You'll see two files there called video and audio, replace the video file with the one you downloaded, however backup yours just in case. Just make sure to place the backed up file somewhere else, don't place it where the downloaded one is.

can you maybe start the game? if so maybe if you start it, you can do ALT+Enter. for me that works

Alt + enter never worked for me in Dying Light, works with other games though.

HEY GUYS!
i got it working. unfortunately, this fix wont work for the folks with AMD :/
anyway, just go to geforce experience and change the game from THERE to windowed :)

Are you running other software than Steam/Nvidia? make sure to disable everything. Also, when starting the game try to open GeForce Experience overlay and close it, sometimes my game gets blackscreen, pressing Alt + Z twice fixes it for me.

Also, if you haven't tried my video.scr, try it.

also, your video.scr doesn towrk. ti is small windowed for while, then it goes back to fullscreen black...

I don't really know what you have on your PC and etc, perhaps you have MSI Afterburner or something like that? there's been people having issues with it. Pretty much anything that's not Steam or Nvidia related, turn it off. Even antivirus.

Have you tried my video settings?

Alright, try applying Read-only to my video file and install it again.

But on the video that has windowed enabled, if you set that to video file that's already turned into fullscreen it won't work.

i tried, it doesnt work. i cant get refund, as i have played over 2 hours...
