How do I participate in Hyper Mode event?

I just purchased this game today, and I apologize if that's a stupid question.

Simply load your game, and start killing things. It is activated automatically.

The event is done, though. More than 30 million kills were registered already, LOL.

when you start the game , a big message should come across . you hit that you want to accept , i had that but i also had to hit the letter (T) , i was removed from the event when i went the dart board , i just got out and came back and than was able to be in the vent good luck :)

Are you saying that you could only get the gold skins if you got in before the 6mil kills ?

I honestly don't know, but if you contributed during the event, even though the number was already reached, you'll most likely get the dockets. The announcement is quite clear on that:
"Take part in the event to receive a Gold-tier weapon docket
Help the community reach the goal of 6 million enemies killed to win two more Gold-tier weapons"

Ive been helping lol only started last nigjt. But slamming zombies arpund in this game is crazy fun
