Not getting Legendaries (Orange) in shops

Hey guys,
I've completed the game on hard difficulty (Story 100%) and I don't seem to get any legendaries in the shops. Do you get them only on Nightmare or am I just so unbelievably unlucky? I also have all skill trees maxed out and I am Legend 4.

Legendary are yellow tier and only can be acquired on loot in nightmare difficult.

No, legendary is Orange, it can be obtained pretty much everywhere, it gets more common in vendors as one levels up through Survivor skill-tree.

No, legendary is Orange, it can be obtained pretty much everywhere, it gets more common in vendors as one levels up through Survivor skill-tree.

That's weird. Have you tried restarting the game? This is how my vendors look. https://imgur.com/a/eRMM2

As you can see, legendary weapons are very common.

after the bozak horde u will get coins.. then just go to the quartermaster and collect them.. its random what u get..

That is gold(Yellow). The OP is asking about legendary tier weapons, those are Orange.

as far as i know, you can buy orange in each difficulty, norm, hard, nm
try to see every vendor in each safezone with trade, there should be at least one selling.
It happened to me vendors didn't sell legendaries for a while like 3 days IRL and then they started selling. Don't ask me how it works, i have no clue.

Also I know a chest where you can get a legendary every time
It's in the hunting tower,the first one you meet when you start the following

Yep, tried restarting the game, didn't work unfortunately :/
This is how all my shops look like. And this is the better scenario, I most of the time have only blues: https://imgur.com/a/28vGI

Tried the shops at night in The Following, didn't work :/
I'll try the chest, but I'd still like to get them in shops rather than in a chest tho :c

I'm sorry for not being clear enough in my previous posts. It's been a while since I've played Dying Light's Singleplayer mode seriously so I've forgotten how things work.

The issue here is Hard mode, just like you have decreased chance of finding Orange and higher tier weapons on harder difficulties, in exchange of tiny chance on finding gold tier weapons.

On Hard mode, vendors won't sell ammunition and materials, I'm also not sure of the chance of Orange tier weapons, but it is certainly lower than Normal and Nightmare mode. I haven't farmed vendors actively on lower difficulties so that's why I had no memory of this. I always knew that ammunition and materials were disabled in vendors on Hard mode but I wasn't aware about legendary weapons being affected.

What you want to do is switch to either Normal or Nightmare mode if you want to vendor farm and see legendary weapons more commonly.

good plan is : you switch to nightmare, buy a bunch of weapons, then go back to difficult opopop.

i just farmed vendors in slums and old town in difficult, no orange for sell ( 10 vendors ).
