How in the hell do I craft a lockpick?

I dont really remember well. But don't you have to put one point into survival tree? The first one that lets you create basic items.

Just started playin this game. I hit "I" to get to inventory, choose blueprints, select "Lockpick" on the left and hit the "enter" key to create. Gotta have the right source materials, of course...

Yeah I know its 1 metal part and I have it I click blueprint but I can only craft the DLC Weapones, a Medkit, and a flare.

You have to unlock the first skill in Survival Skill Tree then get required components for the blueprint.

You should be able to use this skill point in no time flat.

Also, just a tip; pick up ever weapon you come across and never drop a broken one as you can continuously dismantle them for the metal parts you'll always need.

the trick to if you just start playing as i do any damaged unrepeairable weapons dis mantel as u always get metal & lockpicks require metal parts to make. Try pick your tree to suit passives straight away best trick is as well from what i have learnt & learnt from other games keep on the run keep jumping where ever possible loot as much as possible that 1 item you pick up can save you in times of desperate need. Ano0ther idea as what i did beofre i started playing was watch as many walkthroughs as possible of the basics & basic gameplay makes the diffrence once you get through the game. Already at 22% of the story open & 1/4 way threw sideleine objectives already. I find tho what i have learnt is to once you have enough opened up do a lot of the basic easy sideline quests & objectives as its valuble $ & easy skill points that you need. Last night i was playing i was just zombie jumping & jumping pakour all over the map as you get skill points for the bigger crowds of zombies you can jump & kill tho i have opened up my surviver side of my skill tree to suit crafting elements so i dont need to rely on finding things. Its one of the hardest games i have played to date but well worth it comes down to learning the basics then learn from where you die to encounter the problems & survive. I will be doing a video soon just for the new players as i learn to just to help the community i am only new here as well but dont mind helping where i can
