Is there no custom character creation?
What kind of game open world immersive game doesn't even have custom character creation? auto uninstall.

Wow. Loser or what?
Give up on a great game just because you don't have a bunch of sliders to make your character look like a freak.

You have a bunch of different outfits to change the look, and in the following you have a bunch of paint jobs you can win and find, and dashboard items like bobbleheads to make the buggy your own.
Any more than that would be a waste. It's not an RPG.

I bet you didn't "auto-uninstall" the witcher 3, right? And if you did then I really DO feel sorry for you.

Not every open world game needs to have character creation, some games (Like the Witcher, as wobbler mentioned) are story and character driven. Dying Light is as well

Kyle Crane is at least a little more interesting than than a standard silent customize protagonist. Plus it's all in first person so it's not like you'd get to see your work anyway.

It's a matter of immersion. especially in an open world game. Fallout does this really well.

Debatable, but the main appeal of this game is the gameplay itself anyways. You're rejecting a delicious pizza in its entirety because you prefer thick crust to thin crust, the pizza is still good

It would be pointless since it's a first person game, but since there's co-op I do wish that the devs could've let us choose from at least a few head models, or change the beard or hair at least, because in multiplayer having four dudes with the exact same face, hair, and beard running around is a little silly and detracts from the great immersion the game usually provides.

Nope, just outfits ( no sequins ).

This isn't Fallout where you choose the character you want to play.

This is Dying Light. You play Kyle Crane. Everyone plays Kyle Crane, even your Coop partners.

If you can withstand that fact, without getting schizophrenic, you'll have a great time with your fellow Coop players.
Oh, and no Fallout nor TES (except TES Online) game, has the option for multiple people playing together.

I suggest to not compare the uncompareable. ;)

Agree with Wobbler and Just Chill.

K, not going to be such an ass about it, like others do, and yea its an old post so I may be lenient there too. There is no character customization, but it is a good game. If you liked dead islands combat system, I say go for it. Seriously, it gets fun. I had it on my xbox a few years back, its honestly pretty fun. This just isnt a "skyrim" sort of game, you have a set character. its similar with dead island in the sense of, right away it isnt fun, but after a little bit, it gets very fun, so dont just ditch the game if the start is a little iffy feeling for you.

Kyle Crane is literally one of the Stupidest people characters I have ever played. I am talking specifically about the Character as he is written.

"I got bit and need this medicine.....but I am going to destroy it because some ♥♥♥♥♥ outside the quaranteen told me to....." It just got worse from that point on.....Excellent game though, if you can avoid having to deal with the idiot you are controlling.

Well, I guess it's good that he uninstalled, we wouldn't want such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the community anyways I think :)
