Optimal Field of View Slider Setting
I know it's subjective but I was wondering what FOV setting people are using (using the slider in options menu)?

I felt the default was a bit low (running 1920x1080) but not sure what to increase it to.

Wondering what setting others were using??

Edit: I just read that +7 on the slider is 90 degrees FOV for my resolution so I'll start there.

I always turn up the fov to the max in most games. The only game I didn't was Darksiders

I use 102 Vertical FOV for Human and 112 Vertical FOV for Night Hunter (Not sure about the Horizontal Values). It's more than the default max FOV though [:

Full fov here.

Just one notch up from default. I fear max FOV would increase stuttering/lag at busy areas.

Nah dude, you'll lose about 1/2 fps lol. Barely noticeable

It doesnt really increase stuttering. 102 Vertical FOV looks really nice imo, just a bit of tearing in the arms when climbing. I also have a nice rig, not sure for you guys.

Low FoV, so I can feel like I'm turning my head instead of speedrunning down a tube. Seriously, do you guys not see the distortion all along the edge of your screen when you do that? :steamfacepalm:

I think it had a bit more of an effect, at least when looking at distance with plenty of stuff in view.
