In comparing and contrasting what I'm unhappy about, allow me to refer to two other popular and [technically] similar franchises, Borderlands and Dead Island, which have an item and weapon attribute not seen in this game (or, at least not visible to me): level requirement, e.g., a level thirty player picks up a level seventy-two sniper rifle. Does he keep it, or does he sell it?
So, it makes absolutelu no difference which American pistol I sell, then. Thanks!
The rarity on firearms doesn't matter, they can only affect skins but not the stats of actual weapon. If you have two identical shotguns, same stats and damage, but one blue and another orange, you might wanna drop or sell blue one and keep orange just for better look in inventory, simple.
It's not entirely meaningless but stats wise, it is. Well, it has nothing to do with inventory management, usually a person would keep only one with the color he likes, it actually makes it easier to decide which one to keep.
@ Josh: A reasonable hypothesis, seeing as how both franchises were coded by the same developer, and both games are quite similar.
