How to unlock The Launch quest?

1. After completing the Hardware quest Volkan Dan is supposed to contact Crane over the radio.
This has not happened for me. Someone suggested continuing with the main missions to unlock it. Thanks to Blademaster's coop help I completed the Pit but this quest remains locked. It is the final side quest left in the Slums.

2. I completed Gunslinger quest ages ago and just discovered that after its completion I should go to Old Town to do "Lost in Space" quest. I have not been to Old Town and have no idea how to get there.

1. The launch is the last sidequest in the game. You unlock it after doing several quests for fatim and tolga. For an example, have you done the quest by the school and then later the quest by the bridge? Because you'll need to do those and then get to the last map in the game the antenna You obviously haven't been there, if you haven't even reached Old Town yet.
   
   
2. You get to old town after reaching a little over half way into the story.

I've completed the school quest and "Hardware" which is to collect the sonar on the bridge in the military tents.

So now you just need to complete the game about 90% of the the way and the quest will be revealed eventually after you fix the antenna at the end of the game

So I need to get to Old Town then later return to the Slums.
Strange that. I watched the "hardware" quest walkthrough and the moment Crane picked up the sonar in the bridge tents he got a call from Volkan Dan giving him the antenna co-ordinates.
I also read that this quest starts after completing hardware quest.

Update: I finally received a call from Volkan Dal when I reached the top of the tower where I informed the world of the Ministry's intention to bomb Harran, Broadcast mission.
Strange the delay.
