I am trying to play this on an older laptop, but I don't think it should be a problem, as the graphics of the game are quite, well, discrete.
Specs: Dual Core T2500 2.0GHZ, 2.5GB DDR2 RAM and an integrated graphics unit: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. I'm aware it's an oldie, but I've played several games on this thing, and not yet encountered any flaws other than obvious framerate issues.
edit
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hammerwatch\config.xml
change the fullscreen tag to false
<Fullscreen>false</Fullscreen>
save it back, restart steam give it a go
Thanks for responding but my Hammerwatch folder doesn't have a config.xml file.
right cilck hammerwatch in the library, go to properties
click local files tab and click browse local files button config.xml should be located there
Apparenty I was missing a DLL file so I downloaded that and placed it in my Hammerwatch folder. After placing it in that folder and running the game once that config.xml file finally showed up. Turns out you need to have run the game before it is created.
specs are: windows 7 intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
64 bit
