Depends on what you're looking for. If mowing down Allied forces in Normandy is your thing, go for 1944. If you want to take down Japanese or American forces in the Pacific, go for this one. 1944 has the most iconic WW2 German weaponry, 1945 has more weapon types and COOP if that is your thing. A third option would be getting both with 25% sales.

And btw. Is it possible to turn off the slow-motion camera in both games? Not a fan of that.

the slow-motion cam you speak of is typically referred to as a "deathcam" in the gaming industry. Just to clarify

this I agree with as motion blur can make the difference for the game performing well or crappy on potato hardware
