Day 1 Speedrunning Record?

So I've been trying to speedrun Day 1. So far my record is 20 people successfully processed. I figured that since a day is 6 minutes, every hour is 30 seconds. It takes 15 seconds per person, so the maximum is 24 people. However, there is the "This checkpoint was a mistake" man, which makes you lose about 10 seconds. So I figure that the highest possible amount of people is 22 or 23.

Has anyone beaten my record of 20 processed? Has anyone reached or beaten what I calculated as the maximum? Has anyone else even tried to speedrun day 1?

Got 95 credits in first day, which means 19 processed. Didn't try to speedrun per se, just get as much as as possible for better reserve later when it's harder to make money.

Note that the time goes faster on the first day then on later days as well. Anywaysm my best is 12 (Demo version though, not sure if differences between demo and full affect my attempts)

I think it used to go faster in the demo, but not in the final version.

Nice. If I wouldn't keeo fumbling with passports, I bet I could get 21/22

Yup, just checked some youtube vids, you get 2 minutes in the demo, 3 in the full version.

Why don't you just do the 10-minute game in Endless Mode? That will keep track of your highscore for you then.

Because with Day 1, it's more of a Speed Run-type level than Endless mode, since all you do is deny if it's not an Arstotzkan passport. You go so fast on that day that it's fun to see who can go the fastest!

I got 19 on my last playthrough and i fumbled alot so 20+ is very possible with some discipline.

Just tried it and it seems impossible to get more than 20. Even if you set up macros for it and you get lucky with many foreigners.

Day 1 is so easy to speed play... stamp all foreigners denied, all residents are approved (no clue why people check region on day 1... all passports from your country are legit).

Day 1 averages 20 for me, got up to 23 on day 3. Mostly cos if you spot a descripency, just deny them

I tried a backwards run on day 1. Accept all foreigners, deny all Arstotskans. My penalty was -395. Can anyone beat that?
