Papers, Please
How many days will the full game have?
Just wanted to get an ideia of how long the game is, as i am not a fan of the sandbox mode.

Not sure if anybody can tell me this info at this point, but i hope so.

Story mode takes at least 4 hours to reach one of the main endings. The game is divided into days and there are 31 days in all. Retrying days or getting multiple endings takes longer.

8 main ending with 20 variations from what I understand... And it's 31 days to complete the game... I think it's gonna take more than 4 hours to complete the game the first time... 4 hours when you gonna be better to it!

Well, that wasn't personal opinion, that was copypasta from the dev's site.

I guess since some days get cut short, etc - that some days might not go as long. But who knows? We wont untill it comes out in a few hours and we can finally play it. :)

Are the encounters semi random? I mean I the guy who tries to forge his papers again and again and the couple will probably still be in their but are the standard people going to be randomized? If so I'm probably going to play this for a long long time.

Most are randomized (both the person, their papers aswell as the faults on the actual papers) some other are hard-coded (they appear no matter what... mostly key characters but they can arrive earlier / later the same day) and others are random "special" characters (by special I mean some kind of criminals that may of may not appear that day, special persons like government agents with some special papers, many kind of weird people: cult members, fugitives, drug smugglers etc.) The game will be replayable along with an Endless mode. It will be a random generated piece of joy!

From the official website:

- How long is the game?
Story mode takes at least 4 hours to reach one of the main endings. The game is divided into days and there are 31 days in all. Retrying days or getting multiple endings takes longer.

- How many endings are there?
There are 20 different endings. Some are small variations of others. 8 of the endings are attained by completing the entire game in different ways.

- What determines which ending I'll get?
Endings are based on the decisions you make each day. The amount of money earned has an influence on several of the endings.

- What is endless mode?
Endless mode allows you to play one of three game-types with an endless flow of procedurally-generated travelers: Timed, Perfection, or Endurance. Each game-type has a different scoring system. You can also choose from 4 different rulesets for any game-type. A ruleset determines which border checkpoint rules are in effect and which documents are required for travelers.
