Any way to save Sergiu?

WARNING SPOILER-Y!

During the terrorist attack on day 25? 26? Is there any way to save your friend the guard Sergiu? No matter how many times I try to get all of the terrorists he is always killed.

When I cleared his girlfriend through the checkpoint (even though she had invalid documents), he left with his girlfriend the next day and got reassigned right before the big terrorist attack IIRC.

He didn't die on my last playthrough because of the above happened.

Weird, that's not how it goes down in my game. His girlfriend comes the same day as the terrorist attack. I clear her first and they meet but he's still there when the attack happens. I know because he's the one in green.

You just have to be really fast. Once the terrorists appear quickly get your gun, shoot the one on foot. Then when the motorcycles are next to eachother shoot one and it will cause the other one to explode along with it. You can save him just be quick.

Yes. It's VERY hard to save him, but is doeable regardless of whether you cleared his girlfirend. Of course if you did not he will not be happy with you.

It is possible to save him. I got it on my third attempt. The attack starts shortly after the eight person enters the checkpoint. As soon as they enter, grab the key and get ready to unlock the gun. Shoot the motorcyclist before he kills Sergiu and then quickly shoot the man that climbed over the wall before he throws the grenade. Use the EZIC rifle if you have it. It seems to be more accurate.

It took me a lot of tries but I finally got them all with the EZIC rifle. I was way too happy about Sergiu thanking me the next day.

How? The rifle only gets two shots. Tranq gun gets three.

Shoot one of the motorcycles when they are right next to eachother and they should both blow up. Then shoot the grenadier.

Sergiu's never died in my games. Maybe I'm just fast with the mouse, but by now you know what to expect, so that day make sure the key is in an easily accessed spot so you can quickly open the gun cabinet and pick it up. Then just be calm, take aim, and fire.

Use the Tranq gun if you aren't a good shot, it has more shots.

What? Could you clairify a bit? What's the audience?
