Problem with "reason for visit" discrepancy.
Hi, if a person comes in to be processed and they state, for example, that they intend to stay for a year, but their permit states one month, how do you highlight this as a discrepancy. I can find no way to do this. Cheers.

I think you need to take the audio transcript from the tray on your counter (on the left) and cross-reference it with the permit with the inaccurate date on it. Can't say I've gotten this far yet but this seems the most likely solution.

Yes , this is the correct solution...

1. Hover the cursor over the microphone, found in the center of the booth. A piece of paper (the audio transcript) will pop out.
2. Click and drag the audio transcript onto your desk.
3. Go into Inspection Mode.
4. Highlight the duration on the permit.
5. Highlight the contradiction in the audio transcript.
6. Either interrogate them so they can correct themselves or deny them.
7. Put the audio transcript back.

Here's a related tip, from the Wiki:

"Mismatched Speech: if a visitor's spoken reason for visit or length of stay does not match their entry permit, you can Deny immediately. If you interrogate, they will always correct themselves; but as with missing documents, you are not required to provide this opportunity until the introduction of the blue "Reason" stamp."
