Changing stamp?

I stamped "Approved" for someone by mistake but I wanted to "Denied" Can I just stamp the Denied stamp over the Approved? Or how exactly.

The deny stamp will over-ride an aproved stamp regardless of the order they are stamped.

The last stamp you stamped on the passport will be the valid one.
You can simply stamp denied on the approved.

I'm pretty sure that approved stamps can be overridden but denied stamps cannot be overridden.
