New booth upgrades.

Maybe I'll get some flak for this because it doesn't make the game as challenging/engaging, but I think there should be two new upgrades to make the game go a little faster.

The first is the 'restore all documents location' button. Sometimes when I grab one of the documents and let go/toss it aside too fast, I accidentally toss the document to the right viewing area and it disappears. I have to reset the whole day cause it just doesn't exist anymore. Apparently this is a bug some people have encountered and I am surprised it hasn't been patched out yet. Either the game adds the restore location button or patch out the bug. Also because I just lose track of something cause its hidden by something else. It'd just make the game a little easier.

The second is the 'the return documents to entrant button'. As it says, after denying or granting entrance, its a little time consuming to return all the documents one by one. So the button does the work for you. Something like clicking on all the entrance's documents (ignoring rule book, fingerprints, etc.) so you can hand it out at once.

I asked some people on their opinions and they think its unnecessary for the second button upgrade cause its challenging. Only one other person encountered the bug twice but they all thought the first button upgrade would be great. I think there could be some strategy with a return document button, like you have to first confiscate passports before clicking the button.


I'd like to hear other people's thoughts on this.

EDIT: I was just playing endless mode and thought about a new upgrade, the "alarm button." Instead of having to manually move the mouse over to click the alarm (siren or whatever its called) button, a button on the keyboard does it for you. When I first played the game I was surprised it wasn't included as an upgrade.

But I'm not a modder or anything so I can only dream, or wait for someone else to mod the game. I read somewhere the developer is moving onto different projects so there's no chance they're going to fix the documents bug.

I like the second idea of an upgrade, as I agree that it is a bit time consuming to give the entrant all their documents and can really slow down on getting more people through the checkpoint.

Hey i just saw your post and i (accidentally) made one about the same issue with the documents disapperaing. I encountered it 3 times in the 8 hours i played and needed to restart the entire day. I also thought about the restore position button but i dont think it should be an upgrade if the bug isnt gettting patched out. Either it gets patched out and its an upgrade or it deosnt get patched and its a default option.

Furthermore the return documents to entrant button is something i am kinda on the fence about. sometimes you accidentally allow an entrant but then you see last second that they are say 3 kg heavier. If you would have given most of the stuff away this wouldnt be possible to check anymore making it a 100% fail. On the other hand, you could probably get 1 or 2 persons more through making up for it.

Yeah handing everything back slowed me down the most. I was hoping to get an upgrade for that problem. It was weird that two upgrades do the same thing: the double click and the spacebar discrepancy help.
