Req option to turn off double clicking to inspect?

Hey. Just got the game yesterday and it's cool, but I have one issue. My mouse is old and it loves to think I am double clicking even when I only click once. It's a little annoying, but it doesn't interfere with my gaming...except for this one.

Later in the game, you have the option to enable double clicking to bring up the Inspection, and I bought it before realizing I'd have issues with it after. Now the Inspection keeps coming up often when I didn't intend to, which is very annoying when I'm checking the docs and giving them back to the person. Even worse is when a terrorist come and I can't get the gun fast enough to shoot him/her because of this issue.

It's fine in the storymode because I can simply not 'buy' this option when it comes up. However, in Endless mode all the upgrades are unlocked automatically. I'd like a way to disable certain upgrades so I can play the game normally.

I can't get a new mouse at this time.

You can mod the game to turn off that feature maybe. I don't know how to mod but that might be a possibility for you.

I have the same problem even with a new mouse, mostly because I'm a sloppy clicker. My solution is just to not purchase that upgrade. It's just a bit annoying because the game keeps asking me at the end of every day if I'd like to purchase that booth upgrade and complete my "upgrade collection." It's so tempting to buy it but I just do not want. Endless mode doesn't even give you an option; it forces you to play with all four upgrades equipped.

If I could make a suggestion on the matter, I'd like to recommend to Lucas Pope that we just get an alternate fourth booth upgrade to add a shortcut for the PA speaker so we can call the next entrant without having to click on the loudspeaker button; or perhaps even have the PA call the next entrant automatically without any input.

Yeah it's just Endless Mode that it's annoying on :/ At least I'm not the only one who has issues with it.
