I would prefer a game focused on the backstory on Artsozka, not with the same mechanics of Papers, please but with similar graphics. That wouldn't be a second part, it would be a spin-off or something like that, but I think it could be interesting. (I don't think this will happen)

On Lucas Pope's website you can find other (smaller) games that take place in the Papers, please!-universe. In Republia Times you are editor of a newspaper in Republia manipulating the masses.

There are currently no plans to make a sequel to Papers, Please. The developer, Lucas Pope is busy working on a completely new game called "Return of the Obra Dinn". That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a return to the world of Arstotzka at some point in the distant future. There's so much potential for this dystopian setting...

Like a few others have said I think that another game should still be located in Arstotzka, but be focused on another aspect. This aspect could be something along the lines of postage, grocery or bank work.
