Papers, Please
Main Menu theme
So I was recently playing Papers Please when my mother walked in and heard the main menu theme and she was like "That sounds familiar. I swear I´ve heard it before" and so I´m now wondering if this theme or a much similar theme has been played in any game which released in the past (she was certain it was from a game) but I don´t have any idea which game this could be. So if anyone finds what I am looking for I´d be very grateful.
Thanks

No I did not play that. Sorry if this sounds stupid but is that a game and if yes (Since I can´t find anything about it) when was it released?

Its possible she could be thinking of the Music written for the 1935 Ballet of Romeo and Juliet. The piece is written by Sergei Prokofiev and is called Dance of the Knights (Танец рыцарей in Russian). A lot of people (including myself) know of the song but don't know where its originally from, it is very distinctive when you hear it though and without thinking too hard about it does sound similar to the main menu song. It is suppose to be an Anthem and well its set in a fictional country that has a lot of Soviet sort of themes so being influenced by a song that (to me at least) is very Soviet sounding makes sense.

I´ve had the same thought before and I have attempted to show the song to my mother but apparently this is not what she meant. She is 100% certain that it is from a game. Note that a Nintendo 64 has been in her possession for quite a while. I have no idea which game that could be from though. In case you still feel like investigating go on, but I should emphasize that you really don´t have to if you´ve got any other way to waste your time currently

I will keep thinking and going through the internets for an answer. I have a bit of time on my hands now so its no stress at all. If I find something I'll give an update. This has me curious and I now need to know an answer.. All for Arstotzka!

Horror zombies from the Crypt. Old game and it is a version of "Dance Of The Knights", Prokoviev.

The menu theme is inspired by Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, Dance of the Knights
