gj so far guys, this is by far the most enjoyable league for me so far !:fusing:

The difficulty scaling has definitely increased the last few patches; participating with the league mechanics is becoming more and more difficult at lower levels. The rewards are great, but by the time I got to maps this league -- I couldn't even make it past T1 maps w/ league mechanic and after five different builds I just called it quits to wait for next league.

I'd like it if the league mechanic helped boost me to high tier rather than making it even harder to get there. If I get to high tier and my build can't hang anymore that's on me, but I can't even get to mid-tier anymore. The highest I've gotten is low red-maps so keep all that in mind, I guess... still, if I can't even get comfortable in the early end-game then the game won't hold my interest. :steamsad:

For challenges, this league they are VERY hard compared metamorph for sure.
Chigeru Apr 9, 2020 @ 5:22pm
The challenges in this league is based too much on luck than the previous league.

also Kosis is WAY too strong compared to Omniphobia, when ever i meet Kosis in a 100% delirium i either have to run past him or give up on the map

Portal Effect would definitely be more appealing to me personally however the Metamorph one was not my cup of tea so I am finding myself more invested in this league even if I don't like the wings and am totally content to stop on the cape.

Yeah Kosis is definetely too tough. Either nerf him or make Omniphobia harder so that they're similar in levels. Unless the intent was to make Kosis super hard.

It would be more fun if you increase the drop rate.

I haven't dedicated much time to collecting challenges yet. Can't tell if they're harder. Mostly just been playing the game so far...
socketboy Apr 9, 2020 @ 10:01pm
Man I'm a noob, I didn't even know there were such things that could drop. All I've got so far are large and medium jewel clusters

They seem difficult or at least like they require knowledge that the average player wouldn't just acquire or come across through normal play (like all the crafting recipe challenges), but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I believe some hints on how to complete them would allow you to maintain the actual difficulty of the challenges that have to do with fighting bosses and whatnot without deterring players who want to be able to participate but have no idea where to start.

Both are true in my opinion, rewards are less interesting and challenges are sightly harder. Computer performance also affects my motivation > framerate drops, involving death, are common when this league mechanic combines with another from a former one.
Trooper Apr 9, 2020 @ 11:27pm
Only 18% of players have completed 12 challenges, which is very interesting because there are at least 12 challenges that basically complete itself if you just play the game. 80% of players seem to barely even touch end game.

The rewards for completing the challenges are also staggeringly bad. Ofcourse, 90% of your microtransactions are hot garbage, so it would make sense that you struggle to make interesting challenge rewards. But to be so incompetent to make 2 back attachments of only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THREE items you unlock with challenges... It is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pathetic. If you made actually interesting and MORE challenge rewards, damn. Your playerbase wouldn't dwindle so fast after every single league launch.

Yeah i kinda feel the same, but this time the actual league mechanic is the biggest issue. You have to kill stuff fast and move fast, ignoring other stuff on the map, like drops, and then backtrack to gather the loot...

The way your challenges currently work is that only the most addicted people with too much spare time and too little real life friends will even consider completing them. I see challenges as a mark of shame. The more you completed the more it shows what a nolifer you are. I did that in legion league, and told myself to never do it again. It's just not worth it.
