It would be nice if that kind of Jewel grants some points to spend on it (of course, not enough to activate all nodes on the cluster but a few points depending on the jewel's size)...

The new cluster jewels are just an expansion of the existing tree. Its just meant to provide more paths towards different builds.

I already learned a lot regarding PoE but this game is vast compared to i.e. diablo.
I learned alot for countless games over the past 30 years.
Now i am happy to be a casual and just want to enjoy a game without too much effort.
Guess PoE isnt for casuals (I already learned that while grinding it. Those updates cement the impression)

Diablo is literally an arpg reduced to its simplest form....its meant to appeal to all ages because of its simplicity.

or you can watch a vid or two or have someone like myself (I run a newbie guild) explain it to you or clarify your doubts/questions...

Casuals only stay casual because they don't want to put the effort to LEARN.

No offense but as a self proclaimed adult with 30 yrs of gaming experience and learning... you won't learn ♥♥♥♥ IF you don't actually take the time to learn it. I feel someone of your age should know this...

But honestly it doesn't feel or seem like you want to actually learn and put in the effort or you would have already instead of claiming PoE isn't for casuals...

Yes, you are right.
If I would (want to) put the effort into it, I wouldnt be casual anymore. But I dont, so I am.
And to give my own casual opinion about the updates, I stated that I dont feel that making a game more complex is appealing to casuals.

Its not more "complex" at all , these 280 new passives simply add more diversity to builds.

Learning how the atlas works isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brain surgery dude... I can teach you everything in literally 10 mins. The only "effort" would be knowing what the ♥♥♥♥ words mean and WANTING to learn.

Literally everyone I accept into the guild is a FRESH new player and LITERALLY 90% of them finish all or almost all content on that same league.

Once again. IF you actually wanted to be more then a casual player all you would need is about an hours worth of vids or have someone explain it to you or at least the things you have doubts in...

Half of my guys even went deep into crafting last league and made double influenced items and ♥♥♥♥.

Srsly you are overcomplicating something that is fairly easy.

You make it sound like the "effort" is difficult or strenuous or daunting.

I can literally explain any mechanic in game in a few mins to you. From mapping to crafting , to endgame , to anything really.

I just don't like it when people make it seem like PoE is some ridiculously complicated game not fit for the casual player when its the furthest thing from the truth.

PoE IS the most complex arpg out there. Like ANY game, its not rocket science, but it takes way more effort to learn than ANY other arpg on the market.

D3 and Torchlight are literally made so anyone of any age can play it without difficulty. Literally made for kids all the way to adults. The simplest form of an arpg so it appeals to the masses.

Kinda like Wolcen. Beautiful but simple AF.

PoE's complexity is superficial. Most of its mechanics are EASILY understandable outright or with a vid a few mins long.

The only effort it takes is literally knowing how to read and thinking about it....

Wait what's this PoE 2 business? They are doing a sequel? Seems almost pointless since the idea of adding new stuff to the existing game on this consistent of a basis kinda makes it like a sequel every few years anyways with the crazy amount of stuff they add.

I've been away for a while so sorry if this is old news or whatnot. I'm probably about 3 major expansions behind at this point.

But I'm not...I'm just a veteran who did his research and learned instead of limiting myself to being "casual".

A real freak would be someone who won't take 5 mins to learn something simple and then calls those who do hardcore players...

PoE 2 is going to be amazing

Modern Warfare is the same engine almost every release but no-one complains

PoE's Engine is great and only improves, I'd love to see new content in the same renderer
