번역 관련 문제 보고
For example the Anger gem provides an aura which adds fire damage to party members. It requires 60% of your mana pool to run which means you only have 40% left to play with. With blood magic instead of mana it takes 60% of your health. But with Mortal Conviction this is reduced to 42%. There are other similar passive skills which can reduce the amount of "mana reserved" further still.
For each one you have, you take the current mana (or life in the case of post-blood magic) reservation, and reduce it by the percentage of the passive.
Importantly, that goes off the current reservation, not the original. So if you had 40% and 4 5% passives, it would be (60% * 95% * 95% * 95% * 95%) = 49% original cost, rather than simply adding them together which would give you 40% original.
The multiplicitive nature is very important, because otherwise it would be a relatively simple matter to get your auras to all cost 0%.
In your example that would mean 60%* (100%-(4x5%))*(100%-40%) = 60%*80%*60% = 28,8%. And since Mortal conviction is indeed multiplicative, it is impossible to get your aura cost to 0% even if you stack up all %reduced mana from the skill tree, items and use the reduced mana support gem (which is also multiplicative btw). I think the lowest you can get is like 7% per Aura, don't quote me on that though.
As it stands, Mortal conviction (in combination with the blood magic keystone, which is needed to access it) is pretty much useless, unless you like dying to every single hit in the game or you are using a very niche low-life build with massive amounts of energy shield to survive hits and flat hp regen to support the health cost of your skills. Since soul taker's effect doesn't work with blood magic anymore, that's not an option either. Although the OP probably won't read this I found it over google and didn't want to leave people with false assumptions ;).
