Can you multistrike a double strike?

yea, can you support a double strike gem with a multistrike gem? I'm looking to do that with my on-hit life leech tank.

I don't see why not. I'm using DS with Melee Splash and it's stupid awesome, Multistrike will just make it better.

Yes you can and i hightly recommend it double strike + melee splash + multistrike + life on hit = godmode
