How do i display all minions at the same time (top left corner, witch)
Hi,

When i summon more than one minion at a time, it only displays one portrait in the upper left corner. IE: Zombies, skeletons, specters and a totem summoned, will only display the skeletons portrait in the upper left corner. Once the skeleton dies, it will only show specters portrait etc. I've seen youtube videos and streamers have all their active buffs and minions displayed at the same time. How do i turn this function on? I couldn't find anything in the UI or key bindings. It kinda sucks to not see how many minions i have up at any given time.

Some extra info if it will help out. I've tried playing on just about every resolution, windowed, full screen and windowed full screen. I was able to get it to work once while playing on 1980 windowed full screen, but it went back to the single portrait mid game.

Thanks!

If you summon 1 zombie it will show its health under its icon.
If you summon 2 zombies it wown't show its health anymore, instead you will see a number. thats the number of zombies you got summoned at that time.
If you summon 1 zombie and 1 specter you SHOULD see 2 icons.

in options you can turn on the "show health bar" setting so you can see your minion health above their heads

Yeah i got both of those things down. As sunbro said, it should show more than one portrait but it isn't. I'll take a screen shot when i get home.

Unfortunately imagine you have like 7 auras, 3 debuff effects, one buff effect from shrine, 13 zombies, 14 skeletons, and 4 spectres.

It would be impossible to have a portrais for each one, and rather inconvenient. I prefer the way the game is, sincerely. Best solution is to use the health bars if you like it. This way you even can watchexactly which minion in the map is low on health. Its most useful for spectres, however. Health in zombies doesnt matter too much in endgame.

i don't think im explaining this well, sorry. What i'm expecting is basically three portraits. A spectre, zombie and skeleton. Each portrait will have a number below it to indicate how many are alive. What i get in game is just a single portrait (ie: skeleton with a number 7 below) when i have all three types of minions summoned. I don't need the health bar since i use the health bar above unit option. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for the time fellas.

I know what you're asking.... right now you only get one portrait for each type of pet.

sounds like a bug
CaptainNebulous Oct 25, 2013 @ 12:16pm
If it was a bug they wouldn't show the number of pets on the portrait. But once you get later in the game you can have a ridiculous amount of pets at the same time..... showing a portrait for each one would be a bad idea... especially considering there is other stuff already cluttering the screen.

What level are you? I am a 72 witch summoner and what are asking DOES happen. I can see if i have 4 zombies or 9. I can see 1 spec or 3.

It might be a bug or lag. Sometimes when i change areas, all 3 of my icons just show the minons and no longer show the linked gems. Example- my skeletons use Culling Strike and Increased Melee Physical Damage. In your skill bar you can tell when a linked gem is working because an alphabetical letter will show up. With summons, those letters will also be in the icon on the top left. So sometimes lag or whatever, will cause my icon to JUST be a skeleton or zombie.

OP is saying he only sees ONE portrait for ALL minions, as in...1 for zombies, even though they have skele and a totem as well.(Instead of 1 zombie, 1 skele, 1 totem)

They are in no way talking about having pics per zombie and skele.

I have been having this issue as well. What he is trying to say is this:

You summon 6 zombies. You have 1 portrait for that group of zombies.
You then summon 1 specter. You now still have 1 portrait but it is for the specter and there isnt a portrait for the zombies anymore even though they are summoned.

This must be a bug because there are other times where all the portraits are shown correctly.

Yes, this exactly! I asked around on the main forums and it seems other players are having this issue too. They said it's a bug that occurred after launch and it's being looked into. Thanks for the responses guys.

As a tip, dont put skeletons in a totem. Why? Because they are castable. Anywhere your cursor is, you can cast them. So you can place them anywhere you want. When you get higher, based on items and tree you can have a lot of summons. I use a unique fire staff since im hybrid fire/summons so I dont use a specific summons weapons but, at lvl 72 I have 3 spec, 9 zombies and 11 skeletons.

Depending how you play, you can grab 2-4 groups and summon your skeletons among the different groups and kill more at once. The totem takes up a red gem slot and Im sure my mouse can cast 11 skeletons faster than a totem can.
