Never found a mirror... until Affliction league. Found like 6 or 7 during that league lol.
Are you implying that the drops rates are different? AFAIK they are the same across all leagues. Adjustments to drop rates should be global.
Sure, you might be able to get mirrors at a higher rate in standard because of legacy quant gear as you're able to get more drops, but the base drop rate is still the same.
That's irrelevant.
How come people said they got a lot more mirrors in Affliction league?
What changes, are the different league mechanics. Affliction had the ability to greatly increase the quantity of items and currency dropped.
Affliction league had wisps that increased drop quantity and made mobs drop additional currency items. People could therefore get as much extra quantity as they could fit on gear, juice their maps as much as they could manage, min-max the amount of wisps from the wildwood and take advantage of mechanics that added a lot of rare mobs to get a much higher amount of drops per map than what had been possible before.
The mirror drop rate wasn't higher, people could just get much more items to drop which led to more mirrors.
Pretty doubtful we'll ever see the same thing again. Even though there will be a possible wildwood encounter added to t16 and t17 maps next league, the amount of possible drops will surly be limited to not cause server strain and impact performance like it did in Affliction league.
