Reset Choice in Bandit Quest

So first time on normal difficulty I helped one bandit. But I don´t remember whom. In the quest log only stands: "you helped one bandit." But not whom......
This time, on cruel-difficulty I decided to kill everyone.

So.... how do I get the trophy for helping everyone?
Is there a reset function to do the quest again?
Or do I have to create a new character to get the chance to help every bandit.

Please only answer, if you have a source.

You can choose to help one of the Bandits or kill all of the bandits in each difficulty. If you kill all the bandits in normal you will get one passive skill to use as you choose, the same goes for Cruel and Merciless difficulties. So you can end up with 3 total passive skill points for all 3 difficulties. When you help one of the bandits you get to choose a specific reward that that bandit offers. The rewards are different for each difficulty. Here is a link to the rewards "spoiler"

You cannot reset what you chose once you have completed the "Deal with the Bandits" quest.

Some of the rewards are better than a passive skill point depending on your build.

Are you referring to some sort of Steam achievement or PoE achievement? How do you help "everyone" anyway? You can only help one bandit on each difficulty. You could kill all the bandits on all difficulties though.

i.e.:
With a scion I help bandit X on normal and kill everyone on cruel and merciless
With a mareudeur I help bandit Y on normal and kill everyone on cruel and merciless
With a duellest I help bandit Z on normal and kill everyone on cruel and merciless

I see an achievement called "Traitor" which says that you need to help all 3 bandit lords. This would mean that you would have to help a different bandit on each difficulty. If you can't remember who you helped in normal, and if you've killed all of them in Cruel, then you are gonna have to start a new character. THERE IS NO WAY to reset a bandit quest.

If you are one of those people that wants to unlock all the achievements, you are going to have to make several characters and do so in different leagues to unlock all of PoE's achievement. I don't see the point, but whatever you think is fun.

No, I don't think it works that way. You would have to have one character for example help Alira on Normal, help Oak on Cruel, and help Kratyn on Merciless, or any order you wanted to help them in.

Do you feel an so forceful need to write ANYTHING? Is that some kind obsessive-compulsive disorder?

I mean... wtf?! What kind of answers are those?!

Erretter pls, calm down. If you want to have a confirmed answer: ask the developers. How should one proof something that doesn't work? And these are discussion forums for discussions, not an official support forum. Savitr wanted to help you and his statements are plausible. If you really want that achievement and killed a bandit with your character once, you have to try it again with a new character.

I'm too interested in accomplishments. I don't know if you if you have read the modifications granted with the version 1.0.1 I've read on this link :

The hell is everyone talking about ? guys, please, that achievement can be done using 3 different chars. If an achievement has to be done with one single char it's stated specificly in the achievement description.
