Screen "tearing"
Hello, I have searched the forum, but didn't found anything, maybe I am missing the right words...
When my char stands still, everything looks fine, but as soon as I move, the pixels don't stay on the screen smoothly, but are somehow loading slightly teared apart so everything but my char is kinda blurry. It almost looks like in this gif: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=190523198 So, for example, while moving one can't read item names on the ground. Its pretty stressful for the eyes to play like this for a longer time.
I have turned off shadows and messed aroung with AA and stuff, but nothing helps...

System:
i3 @ 2.4 gHz
GTX 420M
4GB RAM
Win7 64 bit

Thanks in advance :)

Screen tearing is a function of your system running at 60+ FPS but your monitors refresh rate being 60hz. Sometimes the frames "stack" if your FPS is far too high, causing the tear. Vsync is the fix.

However, with a card that bad i cant imagine this being the case, i would be shocked if you could run the game over 25 FPS.

I played Battlefield 3 with 30 FPS (laptop resolution) :) PoE runs with around 40-50 FPS with medium textures and 2x AA, but VSync is on. I only have this problem in PoE and Skyrim and in no ohter game... :%
However, thanks for the explanation.

You can see it in this video how distorted the textures become once the character moves. I can't be the only one..

if u had an amd card like me i would sugest gettin radion pro and using that to limit fps and forcing vsync through it..it works for me..maybe there is an alt program for nvidea users.

Ahh it did not come to my mind to look into the nVidia system settings. I'll take a look. Thanks a lot!
