Not getting any scroll of wisdom drops.

I've now filled my stash with unidentified objects. Also my inventory. Its getting to be a game of geuessing which items to waste. I also see threads on coin / cash drops. What is that about?

must be a bug, if u want scrolls....create a new shadow, get your stuff, grab all the chests and white items....and kill the boss, go to town, un equip your gem...sell everything u got + pots+ the 1 gem.....nets 7 scrolls, repeat.

I tried that before I found out I can get 180 scrolls for 1 c....but even then if they stopped dropping I would be hosed.

Scroll of wisdom is much rarer than the identification scrolls in Diablo because you can't really buy them with golds. You can however, sell a bunch of whites to get them, or trade in an orb of transmutation for 4 scrolls. they do drop a lot more commonly as the game goes on. But even now I'm Lvl 58 in Merciless I still don't have EVERYTHING identified. you just have to learn to prioritize what you really need to id and what you can just leave on the ground.

What level is your character vs the area you're playing in? The game debuffs your currency drops (scrolls count as currency) when you're too strong for an area.

2 possabilites.
1. you are getting a normal amount of scrolls but you are think it's less than what you normaly get and say "none" to get attention.
2. your account has been flagged for botting/hacking

Reported in the bug reports aprt of the forum and investigated.
70% getting drops as per no 1
30% boting/hacking

Said thread also has several posters now banned.

Also stated in ht thread that if you feel that it's bugged to email support and they'll investigate

Just sell armour shards and weapon shards to the vendor, for allot of id scrolls! After a couple hours you will learn what to id and will get to many id scrolls then you need.

I took the plunge and started selling the stash cheap. Then I started to get a couple of more wisdom scrolls. I suspect the comment that I was too strong for an area has something to do with it. However unless I am mor eof an idiot than I think, having to walk my way back to some of these quests - if I play next day, is puttingme in this circumstance. Thanks for the responses. My solution for now is to sell the lower end stuff to clean my stash, and soldiering on.
Though I am not seeing any option to purchase scolls of any kind from either of the vendors. Items that cost scrolls, but no purchase. Perhaps we have the games mixed?

Go to the sell mode and put one orb of transmute in there. Also, read the POE wiki for full vendor recipes.

always loot small white items like daggers and sell them. its your main id scrolls income.

dont identify everything you find, just the rares

sell unidentified blues you know u wont need -> sell transmutation orbs for scrolls

This. You won't get enough wisdom scrolls to identify everything. Identify all rares and uniques. Sell all blues without identifying them, except the blues that have the potential to be an upgrade. For example if your using an average Bow, and the next tier of bow drops with good sockets, identify it.
