Do arrows count as projectiles?

So...yeah,in the skill tree there are "Projectile damage" and "Arrow damage" skills. Arrows are projectiles indeed..but I don't know if the "Projectile damage" skills apply to arrows as well.

They should. The projectile damage would apply to things you shoot as well, like Spectral Throw, whereas the arrow damage wouldn't apply to those because they aren't arrows.

Gems will list specifically what categories they fall under. Bow gems will list projectiles along with ethereal knives, spectral throw, etc.

If you are asking about just a regular bow attack without using a gem, not sure, but I'd guess it would still benefit from the passives.

Passives augment all abilities where possible. This would include Default (non-skill gem) Attack. Bows and wands both generate projectiles on their attacks so will benefit from Projectile Damage. Some spells are projectiles and will also benefit. Eg. Lightning Trap is a spell, a trap and creates projectiles. As matt said, Lightning Trap decribes categories that it is and modifiers it can be affected by. Lightning Trap will benefit from trap, spell and projectile passives. It's not affected by Arrow Piercing notable passive because it's explicitly said 35% chance for Arrows to pierce. Bows only create arrows.
