Who's the best character in PoE?

I already play the game in Garena, and i think the duelist is the best character.

I think my favorite class is the scion. Not because of any particular build (though I like her great positioning in the skill tree), but because she is a somewhat complex character with a more fleshed out background story than the others. She's also chatty and has some catchy lines ("Go to bed, little nightmare."). Sure, she's melodramatic and a bit full of herself, but I think she's more original than the other classes, which are just archetypes.

There isn't any "best" character is PoE. There are certain builds that fits a characters best, but generally you can play and character any way you want.

My personal favourite is Witch, her wave clear and single targeted damage (if needed) is too strong.

Shadow is by far the "best" as he has the most entertaining comments through out the game. By far the best voice acting as well...and not nearly as obnoxious as the scions voice overs.

Best build? thats a another story.

I think it's not easy to choose a "best" character in POE due to the fact that you can play in a lot of different ways every char and some of them are almost the same.. But I'd go with the Shadow just because I like dark assassins and that kind of things

Scion due to position in the passive tree. Those 5 attack speed nodes & resist nodes for melee toons are fantastic at the beginning - then head into the marauder/duelist/templar areas. Plus the aura nodes are only a couple away once you have the 5 attack speed...
