Nothing is fun without risk, so don't try to develop a risk free character..
Don't try to make the uber super character of look at me I'm the most awsome of the awsome, I need this or it's all over man.. That's the crack..
Flawed or underequiped characters are much more fun to play..
I have a buddy that fell into the same trap as you.. He got hooked on the E-crack & lost track of what was fun..
The game is really good for a dclone, imo, the best of its kind. All hail Diablo!
That said, you are absolutely right that certain items are absolutely ridiculous as far as drop rates go. The balance of the game is a little out of control too. GGG has created an elitist end game, which I suppose is fine and all, but this is where many people (im assuming yourself) run into problems and the joy begins to disappear.
I dont really follow that kinda crowd or mentality, I have never viewed a *Build of the week* post / video, nor do I care.
The game is more tuned towards multiplayer than solo player , which can be another downfall depending on your style. Me, I mostly solo, which leads to most map bosses and corrupted zones at my level being quite uhh... entertaining O.o
Anyways, there is definitely issues with the game, but all in all , I think it delivers what it offers, just a little better than the rest.
Each to their own.
But OP, you should really take a break, before you break! Sounds somewhat serious.
Yeah roger that, I feel ya.. Been there before.. Tribal Wars, lol.. If the game starts to be a job, it's time to move on..
Cheers to you and yours..
Game Companies need to stop making grind games, because the most interesting parts about their games in this design are the hardest to obtain. Find a new model, this one is and always has been broken.
