Is this game PtW ??? Need RMT ??? lol

hi guys.
in this game , chaos orb and exalted orb are using as MONEY.
it is very difficult to get these by a normal play.
so i think most high level players will use RMT.

developer should really sell these orbs. lol

Rmt are for the weak minded and fast-mindset people that want instant gratification.

I have 26 chars above 60 level,not even one time rmted.

Choosing to get the orbs through rmt,shows a mindset,which neither the developers,neither people as me share.

You either enjoy the game to the fullest and how it should be,or you want to play another game.A game which you will never enjoy and a game that isnt path of exile

the only time i used RMT was to set up my Guild Bank and used the remaning points to buy some vanity stuff.

So Warataman if you want a P2W game chose some other there are a lot to pick from

Short answer, no.
The players with the most currency/crafting orbs tend to be traders rather than RMTers.

There's also a vendor recipe to get Chaos and Regal Orbs.

The game is not P2W, and you can get those orbs if you grind a lot. Chaos is more easier to get as you can craft them from items

Some orbs like exalted you can only get from drops, and there are extremely rare and grind heavy.

There is a lot of RMT activity for PoE, as the game is made around trading and is also f2p so the RMT activity is very high, especially as drop rates for some items are very low (in range of F2Pkorean MMOs).

PoE is definitely not Pay-to-Win (PtW) type of game because RMT are only for cosmetic effects and few account features.

I have supported this game in closed/open beta and also plan to buy another supporter pack soon because I need more stash tabs, which I feel is the only thing worth spending your money on. This does not mean I dont appreciate GGG's effort, hence I plan to buy another supporter pack.

Now, I have started playing approximately month ago in Torment league. I have already sunk nearly 300 hours into the game.I have lvl86 scion slowly moving through maps, currently up to lvl74. This is all solo without any trading (selling or buying apart from using vendors). I'm telling you this to show that you can get wealth on your own without RMT but you cant expect it will be quick or easy.

The trick to getting more orbs to drop, is to simply farm a high item quanitity map with the proper gear. My method is, get to level 86-90, than don't care about dying for the life of farming. Find item quanity gear to generally see more drops all together, if possible it is best to stack item quanity with item rarity since generally the quanity adds the chance of more things to drop from an enemy or enemies and the rarity factor rolls on the thing that could potentially drop, excluding the type of orb. I usually farm 66 maps since they are easy and fast going, and all of it is soloing. with 70iq/490ir I make on average 5-10 exalted orbs in a 6-8 hour time frame, but that is constant grinding xD best of wishes.

I apologise if I seem uneducated on this topic but what is RMT? Real money transactions? If so, how exactly do people use it to get orbs? Buy then trade?

It's real money trading, usualy people that hack/cheat to farm orbs sell them on for real money or it's people that scam and hack accounts to get items...all of which GGG ban for.

Its selling/buying between players in game items for real money. Its not related to hacking and cheating per see, as there are a lot of people that play by "rules" and there are well know forums where the trading is going on and rules are very strict there.

But most important is "EQUIPMENTS".

For example , as 6L is Legend grade , idk how to get 150 fus for 5L need.
On earth must I spend time of how many months to get them ?
If use RMT , these will be available in 1 or 2 days.
GCP too. I farm all day and got only one , or nothing.
Drop rate's balance is too bad , and its not fair.

Developers insist that it is not PtW, but the reality is PtW.

It's not pay to win, as pay to win in relation to free to play games means the devs get the revenue not some scumbag that'll get banned and the people he trades to banned.

may be they are selling, but not in game store :)
