I wonder how many servers are there to deal with player bases... or if this was all done on the same server running the POE 1 and the host decided it was a great time to go with Jesus Christ

I doubt they are the same servers as poe1 has been working most of this downtime. (going down for maintenance for 10 mins at poe2's release.)
