Questions regarding Spectres

Hey there,
I got some questions regarding spectres, but I have to mention first, that I'm a noob on the game.
First of all I would need some informations about my actual spectres Ingame. It says, that you get this informatins by pressing ctrl and hovering over the spectre, but this doesnt work out in my case. I googled that I should activate "Monsters Info" in the options menu, but I cant find that option as well.
Generell I would need some basic knowledge about spectres and the machanics, but on youtube I could only find several videos on an advanced level, regarding spectre banks etc.. Does anyone have a link to a helpful video, that could be recommended to beginners?

Thx, I've got that so far. And as a next step, I'll dive into the spectre bank system. Still I ask myself, is there an option to get information to my actual sprectres (their skills, or just even their type)? I want to have 4 solar guards, but to be honest, I'm not really sure, if I picked the right one, by using "Desecrate".

Hold A when you mouse over a corpse to highlight it, then you can see which one you're turning into a spectre. If you use a trigger wand (trigger socketed spells when you cast a spell with 8 sec coolddown) to auto cast an offering skill or detonate dead, make sure to remove it before you try to create a spectre. The offering triggers first, destroying the corpse you wanted to make into a spectre. As for viewing details on any minion ingame, unfortunately its not a thing like it is in poe2 where you can see details on their damage and defenses. You can use Path of Building to see the minion damage/defenses, but the only way to know what skills a spectre uses is datamining.
