This is incorrect. For example, my barb build has no shouts and no WW. And I did concede that there is one brainless barb build, which is the shout WW build. But isn't that POE? Boost one skill and spam? That is POE in a nutshell. I am not sure what else you are going to say once resistance is fixed, it seems like a sticky point here. And I have explained that there is no variance in POE builds. They are the same. Because one throws a shield and explodes everything compared to a bow that freezes everything, it all becomes the same thing - everything dies before you see it with the same positioning and same buttons. Try to play POE without resistance at max. Where is the build variety when you have to max all your resistance?
D4 is a good game without end game content, which is a consistent formula for year 1 gaas. I recall destiny 2 year 1 - wow, that game had no end game and now the end game is extensive.
Look, I want to support the little guys. NZ indie developer vs awful big corporate ♥♥♥♥♥♥ deviant blizzard? Absolutely, I wish to like POE. But I can't see how it is a better game. Critically, they are about the same. One has extensive end game content and f2p. The other has smooth gameplay and graphics and classes/build variety. I just prefer gameplay to endgame. If I had more time and less money, POE would be great. Money isn't so much a factor. I am not a kid anymore and my time is more important.
I want to be wrong about this and just enjoy POE and support GGG. But the more I play both and the more I research POE - the further away I am from continuing with POE.
