Elemental Damage vs Spell Damage (what's the difference)
I would like to know if there is a difference bewteen the two when relating them to the skill tree nodes.
For example, 8% Increased Elemental Damage (node).. Will that effect My Witchs Fire and ice spells or will it only effect weapons that have Elemental properties on them?

Thank you, any help is much appreciated

As long as a spell uses elemental damage, you can improve it with Increased Elemental Damage and Increased Spell Damage.

As a counter-example: Ethereal Knives is a spell, but doesn't apply elemental damage. So increased spell damage increases its damage, increased elemental damage does not. (Unless you modify it by e.g. adding Added Fire Damage, then the fire damage portion would receive an increase from Increased Elemental Damage).
Inc elemental damage increases all sources of elemental damage. So both spells and weapon attacks.
Inc spell damage increases all sources of spell damage unless stated otherwise (e.g. Detonate Dead is not affected by Increased spell damage). So both elemental and non-elemental (chaos/physical) damage.
As a fire/ice witch, you can usually use both stats.
