Because PoE 2 is an abysmal sequel and they've gutted everything that made PoE what it was. I'm sorry but I think it's terrible. You have no idea how much pain it causes me to say and admit that.

Poe 1 and 2 are fundamentally different games. Some people just prefer this. Also poe2 isnt free yet.

Personally, I prefer PoE2 by far.

But, I have never played the first game before, PoE2 is still in early access, and it's fun to 'catch up' on things while PoE2 has a bit more time in the oven.

I don't get why people are so prissy about things.

If you enjoy PoE1 and not PoE2, play PoE1 (and vice-versa).

Not everything has to cater to your particular preferences, after all.

Poe2 is cool, but it feels shallow still. I would've still been playing it if the previous patch didn't make it so it froze my entire pc when I boot up the game. Waiting for a fix right now.
