both are going to be independent games. people still play d1 when d4 or w.e. is out. who cares what others want to do when 90% of the content is soloable. IF YOU StILL FIND ENJOYMENT IN IT.. that all that truly matters in the end.

Absolutely worth it. There's so much stuff to do in this game. Its more of a power fantasy compared to the new one. And since its been out for long, there's plenty of tools and sites available for assistance if needed.

Yes. I'm actually reinstalling right now as a palette cleanser because I'm so disappointed with the new one.

Aside from what people said, it just has much more content and content variety than the poe2 beta, so if you got bored or did everything you wanted to do in poe2, come here and play the predecessor^^

Yes. As someone who bought and played 2 and put thousands upon thousands of hours in 1, I can confidently say that 1 is miles better than 2. Maybe that will change in the future but I don't think so. PoE 1 remains the grand heavyweight champion of this genre. It really is a work of art.

That's what I did and I'm having a blast in 1 again. It actually made me appreciate it more.

Oh my god POE2 is awful. it's just awful.

Imagine taking the most unpopular game mode, Ruthless, and trying to force it on all players. And then you make Sanctum and Ultimatum mandatory for ascension points?

Not to mention bricking entire builds mid-EA with nerfs on the fly, and no free respecs to compensate. I hope POE2 fails and someone at GGG gets fired.

....... PoE2 has been in early access for a week. Give your rage a break.

Why anyone would uninstall PoE 1 for PoE 2 is beyond me.

But the logical process used by denizens of free forums is often beyond me

if you want to zoom and kill a bunch of stuff play poe 1 the second one is slow and unrewarding

ATM I think it's more worth it to be playing PoE 1 right now

PoE 2 not finished

And even if you buy stash tabs, earn cosmetics or buy cosmetics

It will transfer over to PoE 2, as long as it's compatible

So, they work well together in a sense

depends in how much time you are willing to spend playing either or both. poe1 demands more time, and longer playing sessions (specially when managing your items, and skills).

if you are short on time because of school or work, then you should probably wait or start poe2. if you dont spend much time socialising with others, maybe you could play both, lol.

I started playing this week, after seeing some people have a lot of fun with the sequel. I'm certainly enjoying it, and by the time I'm "done with it" the sequel will be free and actually in a finished state. Win/win in my opinion.
