Summon Zombie not working all the time...

Sometimes when I use the skill nothing will happen as if I'm not even pushing the hotkey or it will only work at random or not at all.

It's really weird and has become annoying. Is anyone else having this bug?

You are probably trying to raise a zombie from corpses that cannot give you zombies. I think things like fractured mobs, summoned mobs, and the like can't be used.

Best thing to do to make sure Raise Zombie works is to use Desecrate to create corpses first.

As others have mentioned, not a bug. Raise Zombie requires a corpse. Kill something and then target the corpse. This is different from raise skeleton, which does not require a corpse.

Also you can't raise again your zombies. So your zombie's second time died corpse is not usable anymore. Also if many links u might not have enough mana all the times. Like how many times u can cast zombies in row before going zero mana?

I just googled the problem I was having with this spell and this helped a lot so for those who find this page in google YOU NEED A DEAD CORPSE TO USE THIS SPELL as in a dead human around. Just to make it easy and quick for people like me.

Other corpses that cannot be used to raise zombies include warband members, and monsters that are part of a "kill x infected/corrupted monsters" quest.

Ok , I'm still stuck in this problem (i played 50 minutes with a witch): i have both fireball (in the gloves) and raisedead orb (in the wand); with the right click i cast fireball; raisedead (corpse, whatever) has a small "N" (on blue background), what do I have to push?

The blue-backgrounded N indicates the support gem it's linked to. https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Support_Gem tells us it's Minion life (if it's actually lower case and not just "small"... an upper case N would be Arcane Surge).

You'll need to hit the key indicated on the left on the icon while hovering the cursor over a corpse to raise a zombie (if it's the raise zombie skill).

You do know you can both change the keybind for the slot in the option and assign the skill to different slots as you like, even to multiple ones at once? Well, if not, you should know it by now.

Darn mousewheel-press isn't too comfortable on some mice.

Thanks The_Driver, you're a life saver. Had this same problem. Right Click for FIreball and Middle mouse button for raise zombie. Damn. Feel like they should make that a bit more clear.
