How to get more skill gems?

Been wanting new skills but so far no luck with drops...saw some guy leaping around hitting stuff and another guy smashing the ground with lightning dmg visuals.

My skills are so boring, double strike, cleave, heavy bash or w/e

As you progress through the quests, the vendors will unlock more and more skill gems for you to buy (second tab on the magic style vendors). Other classes with your progress state may have other ones to buy, so using a secondary character or asking someone to buy a gem for you might get you other skills.

It's the vendor in each town who sells Potions and Rings and Amulets. Once you complete their quest, they will have a 2nd tab. That tab will have gems.

As you level up and progress deeper in the game, go back to those vendors and you will see more skill gems added to their 2nd tab.

Alternatively, keep playing. In the second and third difficulties gems start dropping like crazy.
