Is Lutbot allowed?

Title. I want to try hardcore but when I get serious I'd like to be able to quickly quit safely if I get cheesed. Is alt-f4 the go to, logging to menu/char screens, or Lutbot the preferred method?

As long as you press a button to exit the game, it's allowed.

Kinda defeats the purpose of HC, might as well play SC and save yourself that extra button.

Why do you play hc if youre going to use software that allows you to escape/cheat death? Thats pretty pathetic LUL

Seems like the old Save+Exit from Diablo 2 with just a press of the escape key.

Also known as automation when you only press one button and not two.

Switching to character select is notoriously one of the slower options.

(Don't confuse this with the logout to main menu option, which is faster. You can even see speedrunners log to main menu (or disconnect externally) and just hit enter to login and another time to load character (unless there's a login queue that is) as it's the faster option).

yeah...but even better it is NOT perfect, there are plenty enough death in HC with it because players bit off more than they can chew and are too slow hitting the button.
