Diablo Immortal made me reinstall PoE
I need to play a good ARPG after that garbage.
Where's the freaking vomit emoji when you need one.

Just one question, i can still play self found right? I kinda like that.
At least get through the story self found?

Sure you can, there are even special leagues for that (you might need to have completed act 3 or the campaign on the account to be able to play in them).

Remember:
Why is there so little group-oriented content in the game? (Russian question)

Because it is important to us that all content is possible solo. This is a base design philosophy of the game. You should never feel forced to group up to be able to do something.

So solo is a base design philosophy. Not just an afterthought.

Nice! Thanks!
It's downloading now I'll see if it remembers my account. Inplayed backnwhen there were only 4 acts and none of the new features.
Before ascension (did I say that right?) or what it's called.

Anyway... Good to know I can solo everything makes it more interesting.

Yeah, a lot of players feel like you. PoE's player count went up quite a bit after DI release.

Yes, Solo Self Found is a thing. Some popular streamers also prefer to play it that way and defeat all the end game bosses.

Yeah, even without the enormous p2w bull, it's still a garbage game.
The oy thing good about it is how good it looks for the performance, it's actually close to perfectly optimised.

But that's about it. You can't customize anything, the game just level your character for you, there's no player input the game might as well play itself for all the auto stuff.

Anyway, i loved playing self found before, glad it's still a thing. :)

Exactly.
And i'm not holding my breath for Diablo 4.
They got away with Immortal with what should be borderline illegal how manipulative it is, they're gonna do it in D4 as well.

It's at least that illegal that it's forbidden in a few countries like the Netherlands or Belgium.

I don't know what you expected ....

ImmoRal is not an arpg, but a kind of mmo gatcha pay to win with slot machine incorporated with the skin of diablo attached, a sub-product so low that it cannot be defined nor game, let alone be called Diablo, that crap surpasses any other indecency, in addition to having plagiarized both the francise, which is very serious, and having disappointed its original creator (David Brevik) who has strongly distanced himself from the company and from any project with them, even from Resurrected since Blizzard had asked for his help during development and to which he refused.
Forums and social networks are full of complaints and negative reviews, plus Blizzard North hasn't existed for years, the current one is just a company of harassers, discriminators and attached to money beyond any logic.
It deserves nothing.
This kind of "games", with this type of monetization that exploits the player on the psychological side trying to induce him to spend, should be banned from any country, especially minors fall into these traps very often, this type of game has this mechanic in which it tries to convincing the user to spend is called circumvention.

It was not wrong to expect better from Blizzard and especially the Diablo IP, an IP that has been mishandled since Diablo 3, an IP that created a very popular genre of games.

But yes, it is foolish to expect better from AAA companies these days eventho PoE is proof that you can make a profit and have a very popular game without all Immortal BS. Sadly the only thing we can hope for now is for governments to regulate the crap out of this industry because they sure won't do it on their own.

The ♥♥♥♥ diablo immortal pulled - should be illegal everywhere.
They wrote the book on how to design a casino fro minors and a cash dump for whales.
And they did it the most disgustingly manipulative predatory way possible.
You know like that pink professor in Harry potter that collected plates with cats, but was a sadistic ♥♥♥♥♥ which tortured you with a smile? Diablo immortal is worse.

I agree completely, and i hope someone brings those "gaming" practices to country officials and that they ban those practices by law like they did in Netherlands and Belgium.
It's worrying what those companies can get away with, like, 2% of that wouldn't be legal if you wanted to do those practices on physical goods. But since "gems" and such aren't "real", they totally circumvent 90% of the laws.
This ♥♥♥♥ needs to change.

I at the very least expected some kind of a Diablo experience, but maybe expected they'll monetize stash tabs, cosmetics, convenience etc.
I don't think anyone was prepared for what actually happened lol, even though played the game "for free", and apparently you can finish the story that way, every even minor system was designed to hook you in some way and get you addicted, even as a free player. I felt dirty just trying to play it, it's disgusting, and i didn't even buy anything.

Government regulation of this crap can't come soon enough, they crossed the line long ago, and Immortal is just a spit in every gamer's face, laughing at us because they got away with it.

Governments should be brought to the attention of this problem, this type of product can be dangerous (mental health) just like the game of gambling, slot machine and others in which you can no longer do without it.
Those who play on mobile devices are mostly minors, easily subjected and deceived compared to an adult, therefore more prone to fall into these traps, sometimes unaware of what happens and where everything is limited to: the game is beautiful, I like the game ..... but unable to follow logic of things, it is obvious that this indecent Sub-product is made on purpose to make money.

DI had 24 million in micro transactions. I honestly thought it would be higher. Quin69 spent I think 26k before he got a 5 star gem and then quit.

I love how almost every youtuber and streamer went in to spend money in Diablo Immortal "as a joke", then collectively spent millions of dollars on microtransactions, legitimizing Blizzards design. Plus, how many non streamers whales did that too.

And now Blizzard got the money, and we csn all collectively itch about how predatory the system is we already gsve them the money.

Governments need to play a less intrusive role in how we spend our time and money. There are people out there who are mature and intelligent enough to make choices in their life. While there are vulnerable people out there you have to wonder where their parents and/or guardians are and why they aren’t intervening.

You p[robably never had to deal with addiction or addicts to say something like that. If the gaming industry wasn't exploiting gambling so much employing the same techiques and peoiple as casinos but way more widespread and insiduous, the government wold probably not need to intervene.

Gambling is regulated worldwide, gaming isn't and it needs to change one way or another, I also rather avoid governments peeking in but the industry is bringing that to itself by chasing the money no matter the consequaences.

In a perfect world people would be a 100% responsible of their actions but gaming companies (and other comnpanies) would nopt be out to manipulate the F out of people so they part with they hard earned cash, in a perfect world money would probably not exist at all even bur the world is very imperfect and so is gaming.
