Joking aside, the playing time to level 100 is hard to quantify, because only very few players take their character that far. I think recently a highly professional player has gotten a fresh character in Tempest to level 100 in two weeks (doing nothing but playing basically, and having help from another player, _and_ most importantly having help from an entire community of subscribers who sent him maps).
My own Warband character is now level 91 after 8 weeks. It'll probably take several more weeks if I want to take her to level 100.
Don't take it for granted to reach max level. From level 90 onward, it becomes extremely grindy, because:
- It takes more and more XP to raise a level. Getting to level 91 requires 2 billion XP in total. Getting to level 100 takes more than double of that.
- You get less and less XP for doing the same content. You gain reduced XP if your own level is much higher than that of the area you're in, up to the point were you only get 1% of the XP that the enemies would usually give. The highest level areas that the game provides are level 82, but these are hard to get, realistically you'll do level 77-80 maps in the very late stages. If you're (say) level 95, then you'll get only about one fifth of the XP that those maps would usually provide. And it'll get less with every new level you gain.
- Areas above level 70 aren't freely available, you have to work for them, and have to use currency to craft them if you want to sustain levels above 74.
In short, the answer is simply: Too long for the vast majority of people. Usually people take a character to about level 92 if they can get that far, and then start a new one.

Currently, after 8 weeks, 17 Warbands players and 14 Tempest players have reached level 100. In Standard (the league that runs since the game started) there are about 350 players that made it that far.
Then from merciless and onwards its maps.
Do they have access to different contents/endgame or they're so different in stats-skills-dps-overall peformance?
of course different advancement in skill tree..but is it so noticeable?
ty.
Generally though you cannot sustain high level maps and end up running underlevel maps for like 5-10% of the regular exp while farming out the higher level maps. Basically, you get stuck running the exact same 5-6 maps for hours on end and most players just quit due to boredom... or they die and lose like 2 days worth of exp and throw their computer out the window....
Building a proper character that can do what you want is more important(and practical) than achieving the maximum level.
