Best example is the new league....starting with a new char and simply die forward...that has nothing to do with fun. Its simply stupid...the worst league i ever had in any computer games ever.
Seems like the Devs runnning out of ideas and dont think about the players anymore. Remember...game should be fun...not frustration.
First area after the encampment sucked the joy out of me.
Magics and rare enemys are so overtuned, you constantly run and suck you potions dry. I can't imagine how people feel that play PoE for the first time and have no idea.
I honestly dont know why i would ever play PoE again apart when i want to feel angry and torture myself!
calm down fan boy... your mommy will still pay for you to win in your favorite game lol
im joking with friends like "imagine starting poe today LOL impossible"
and other thing is, its a free2play game.. i guess every free2play game has thousands of players with only little playtime - which is pretty obvious why
tbh i thought you atleast a little serious after first lines. 300 boss fights on the beach? are you that bad that every single monster feels like a boss to you?
~stop getting triggered but since you read so far
no you dont need frends, you cant even really play with friends when
you reach endgame cause the engine is so bad and this is the worst thing about the game and its successor to me personally
(you could play through the story with friends that works fine but is not needed)
well im 40 years old and have arthritis in all of my knuckles and a brain injury so... yes i suppose to me it feels like what people encounter as normal monsters feel like boss fights to me.
But once one beats the first section and arrives in town, its easy pickings. Pick an AOE attack and never worry about clicking one single enemy at a time. Mines, molten strike, freezing pulse or lightning tendrils, all options to get you to the Nest Crushing part, where you get even better skills like SRS and such.
As a result, they're mostly making the game for people much like themselves - which happens to be masochists.
Jokes aside, they like the game to not be a cakewalk. They still want you to have that power fantasy of mowing down screens full of mobs, but they want the critters to be strong enough that you A) have to earn that power fantasy and B) so that the power fantasy will have meaning because you know just how tough the critters you're blowing up actually are.
Add to it that the game has seen a LOT of extra content (which translates to power creep and a lot of extra mechanics for newbies to learn) and it can get pretty tough to get into PoE if you're used to the likes of Diablo 3 - where most of the game is basically a participation trophy.
Some monsters in PoE can be OP, the trick is to use even dirtier tricks to beat them with.
you also have no idea about PoE so they would feel like you did....
the problems you describe can only mean you do something seriously wrong.
you probably choose a skill where you cant attack the ground but have to attack directly on the mob.
this probably makes you feel like missing 90% of your attacks since you click a bit off the mob and therefore attack misses
Solution 1
choose a spell
Solution 2
choose a skill where you can attack the groudn and then have an AoE effect
Solution 3
get prescision aura and click on the monsters instead of next to them
I uninstalled the game in the past because of this. Recently, I tried playing again expecting that they fixed the hit kill issue but nothing. Just uninstalled again.
If you want to play the game, keep in mind that it's extremely pay to win. You'll die in a single blow out of nowhere because you can't see what's happening. If you are willing to pay for items or have hours and hours a day to farm endlessly until you get a decent set, go for it.
There is 0 pay to win in this game. There are whole leagues where people cant trade at all and people do fine.
FYI if your hands are bad, make sure to pick up a spell with a big AOE as your main attack. Spells cant miss and you wont have to click nearly as precisely to land a hit.
Yes, thats a good suggestion...for example, if you choose the Thief class then try the Cobra Slash gem and use a support gem for 2-3 more projectiles. The projectiles nearly search there targets by themself and it makes a good damage.
There is no donation affecting gameplay at all. Only cosmetics and stash tabs that doesn't change your character stats at all in any way. You get oneshot due to lack of defensive mechanics (reist is most important, elem should be 75%+, chaos can be ignored till maps)
