Is POE 2 using a different Engine? why no DX 12 support?

One hand it has higher requirements which is good this indicates the graphics is better

However it only supports DX 11 it says? what gives?

This is based on steam store page info btw

What type of new Engine tech can we expect?

Will we see Lumen tech like UE5? DLSS / frame gen etc?

Or is it the same crap Engine they just renamed?

The POE store page also only shows DX 11, yet there is support for DX 12. It seems you might be jumping to conclusions by assuming POE 2 will only support DX 11.

They have a in house engine they've been updating since forever. POE 2 uses the same engine.

ok but at least the vomit inducing experience of the nasty character animations / rig will be updated in POE 2?

That would be the only real upgrade that POE 1 will never have?

Ah, the over exaggerating vomit inducing animation complainer is back.

While the animations aren't of the highest standard and are showing their age, I'm yet to start vomiting because of them, nor would I suspect the vast majority of players, but then again It's not like I'm paying much attention to them while playing. I'm certainly not as fixated on them as you seem to be.

You've been repeating the same thing for what seems like years now. Perhaps a less hyperbolic approach would be better to get your point across? I can't speak for everyone, but I personally find it hard to take someone who constantly exaggerates very seriously.

As far as your question, the rigs and animations have all been redone for POE 2. It seems like you haven't followed the development of POE 2 at all, as this has been talked about a lot for quite a while now. There is no shortage of recent footage to watch if you want to see what the new animations look like.

My major issue with POE besides the nasty vomit inducing UGLY Act 2 graphics was the absolute nasty smelly stinky vomit inducing character animations and models.

YUCK is what I Can say to it I quit this nasty looking game years ago, if only Blizzard wasn't woke and catered to the most brain dead people I would have gotten D4.

These days I am getting back into Lost Ark thanks to single player legion raid being introduced, game was unplayable pay to win cancer filled with brain dead missions but my god the character rigs, animations, NON Woke skins was out of this world.

TO me POE was by far the greatest game, gameplay wise I ever played but the vomit inducing character models and animations forced me to quit. I can's stand ugliness everything with western games is ugly.

POE 2 seems to be an exception to the rule I dunno how GGG did it but my god does POE 2 look fcking beautiful.

Soon the vomit will stop and I Can enjoy my favoritte game again

It could be that lost ark graphics spoiled me but POE 2 looks better than Lost Ark.

Hopefully GGG can keep up with Lost Ark when releasing cosmetics.

Pretty sure PoE surpasses Lost Ark when it comes to skins. In quantity and just my opinion, quality as well.
Shows 408 armor sets, 217 weapons at the top of the shop for PoE.

All these skins will be in PoE2 and the ones you own, you will have in PoE2 fyi.

No idea how many skins LA has, but I can't imagine its more than this. But maybe i'm wrong.

Lost Ark has tons but it's not about quantity I was talking about quality.

The skins in lost ark are downright shockingly good it's beyond miss universe level.

No other games comes remotely close not to mention the character creation, it has no competition because it's so good, off course it's a Korean game so it's to be expected
Gameplay is full on pay to win with garbage story but the best cosmetics without competition from any western developer.
