Spells really get blocked?
I have 30% chance to block spells (70% in low life) but most of times I feel like this not works, enemies still damage me with spell projectiles (sparks, flamesurge, fireball, icenova ect.) and when I step into traps/mines still damage me most of times...

If you are talking about the passive node, it's 30% of YOUR block chance to block spells. 30% of the 25% on your shield is a really trivial spell block amount.
EDIT: my example provides you with a 7% chance to block spells. I hope i put it in a way you understand.

30% doesn't block all spells, it's about a little less than 1 spell out of 3, so if you get hit by a wave of 9 sparks, about an average of 6-7 will hit you.

Then spell block only blocks direct damage, not dots, so things like fire trap, desecrate, righteous fire etc. will bypass spell block, and it only block spell mines and traps, some traps and mines are not spells (like bear trap). Essentially block is relatively similar to reflect when looking at mechanics and triggers, any spell bypassing reflect will bypass spell block.

30% is not a lot, it's also rolled for each spell that hits you so you can get a bad streak where it seems everything will hit you. but overall it dose block the correct amount

I have now 45% chances to block spells but Idk if this is really working or the damage is too low damage to get noticed by 90% elemental resist an 200/s regen or I'm just overleveling

Game % have total garbage representation. I have 98% chance to dodge projectiles, 97% crit chance and my guy still gets hit by half of projectiles fired as well as crits about 3/4 of the time he should be based on the numbers. When you complain about this, the math geeks come out and explain to you how you are wrong but in reality it should be displayed on the paperdoll in a more practical way. Don't even pay attention to the percentages just go build a character based on someone else's template that has actually proven it works. There is almost no way to build a character based on what you see in the details screen unless you want to do a ton of math.
