Hey there,

The only time the passive tree is reset is when there's a major patch which significantly alters portions of the passive tree. However, you can use either Orbs of Regret, or any passive tree refunds you may have saved up from quests.

Ah thats so bad news! I hoped they changed this thing about this awesome game... You can make so many builds but you cant reset your skill tree... If that could be posible i would have uninstaled already my D3.... Well thank you for answear! Hope they will change this thing...

All your characters probably have resets waiting if you haven't played in a while, since there was a large patch and a lot of changes not too long ago.

This isn't "bad news" and I hope it never changes. You should carefully consider your choices before you invest skill points in them, that is why you get to place and remove them before you accept your changes. They even have a large skill calculator on the PoE website so you can check how many skill points you will need to spend to reach certain skills etc. If you ever want to change, all you need to do is get enough orbs to take out enough points. Or, you could just make a new character to try out all these builds you have in your head. And if that wasn't enough, you can just wait for a major patch and you will get a full respec if the tree changes. I have had more full respecs forced on me than I have ever wanted.

I would be happy to use a complete skill tree reset option, as a matter of fact the lack of this opportunity is one of my problems with this game.
I do not remember how my tree was before last update. And now I must rebuild without errors (at least to be able to wear my equipment)...

What laziness :sugarskull:

So what exactly prevents you from using Orbs of Regrets??

If this game had full skilltree reset on demand for free, everyone would just have 1 character of each class.

The only people that have this type of option is garena and it's a paid option, it's also not one GGG will impliment because it is pay to win

Actually now it asks you whether you want to reset the tree or not. Atleast it did on my marauder.
My tree is absolutely clean :steamfacepalm:

And I am so tired...

I have been off this game for awhile and just return, found my tree clean. I forget how I had the points distributed and there is no way I can match it again. Noticed that my character tributes was reduced as well as armor stats, also ended up putting all my points into raising intel., dext. and str to where I could wear my armors. I started playing but its now an uphill battle dispatching enemies and though I buff up to find one or two legendary items I have yet to find one. All I got is complete overwhelm with enemies when there is a container that appears to have something worthwhile. Once opened the container got the same low level loot that you get back in level four through 10. I am ready to hang this up and move on.

Edit: Forget to mention I am doing Act 4 since I had previously completed 1 through 3

We realy need that option. I mean first time players will make mistakes in the tree. At least make this a in game shop option. So people would have to pay 2 bucks for it or something near that. I just felt overwhelmed by the large skill tree. So I will have to look for online builds cause I cant reset my tree. I probably gonna fu** it up if I just put points myself.

Why are you trolling? The game is not pay2win and they won't even consider adding pay2win features like that. There are ingame means of fully resetting your passive tree.

You can choose to either A) level new character B) spend the time to farm currency for Orbs of Regret.

Either way, it's better to make an own build once you understand the concepts of making one.

±16 hours to level 42.... just start again while you wait for that one time reset that comes along now and then.

Terrible advice. Instead, learn how builds and making them work and you don't have to rely waiting 4-8 months for a reset.
